requiem for o.m.m.
idiot, today is an EXTREMELY bad day for me. so bear with me for now. i need to rant.i went to marina square to get a haircut today. i was choosing between Heatwave and Chapter 2 salon. hearing that Heatwave is good, i hopped in the salon to get my haircut. then, this guy came over and asked me what style i wanted to cut and yada yada. he started examining my hair and told me i had split ends and whatnot. he was speaking in chinese and i was replying in english. knowing how bad my chinese is, half the time, i didnt understand what he was talking abt.
so whatever he said, i just nodded my head. he was saying sth abt cutting my hair so that it wont look so messy and will make my hair fall in place nicely. at first he started applying some cream thing on my hair, which i thought was nothing much. then he started straightening or rebonding (i dont even fucking know) my hair and i realised sth was wrong. so i stopped and asked him immediately what was he doing and i came to realise that it's some hair treatment thing which costed $200++. WTF, i tell you, he left those details out when he was talking to me. he didnt even mention straightening/rebonding?! i was SOOOO pissed, i could have just grabbed the gigantic hair dryer and whacked it across his face (ok relax, i know :X).
plus, he said i couldnt back out now cos i still have to pay for the chemicals used and i have to complete the whole process or my hair will be spoilt. at that time, i really couldnt care less whether my hair will be spoilt or whatever, i just didnt want to continue with that fucking treatment. i was fuming mad and in the end, the stylist came over and told me he'll compensate me.
yeah it's partly my fault and i should brush up on my chinese or sth. maybe i can take chinese classes with gurmit singh? hahaha. Heatwave would be the LAST place i will ever go to if i need a haircut in the future again. who gives a shit who owns it.
ARGH. yeah, laugh at me all you want. and my scalp is very PAINFUL.
