i've learnt something this time round - never to laugh at morning announcements and people who lose things (eg. ipod) because you'll never know whether the person would turn out to be you. poor cheapshot (my ipod's name) got ran over by a car and picked up by a teacher. the screen is badly damaged and the ear piece is in a horrible state. the funny thing is that it's not entirely spoilt, i can still switch it on and play some music.
so if anyone has some extra cash to spare, you can always come to me and take my ipod to the store to repair it or better yet, buy me a new one ;)
anyway, results for prelim 2 aren't fantastic but i'm glad i made some improvements, just small improvements though. 4 weeks++ to the a levels! and, i might not be blogging here anymore. we'll see.

girls night out
met up with the girls for dinner yesterday. sadly, almost everywhere was packed and we had to settle for hongkong cafe. photos at fadednegatives! my camera is currently down :( the location didn't matter, the company did. the weather was terribly hot in the afternoon today, it made me feel all sick and lethargic. i should get back to my notes and stop watching Novak Djokovic on youtube doing his impersonations.one more thing before i go, i need to rant to relieve stress. somehow i cannot stand the word "UBER" being used too often. if i ever used it constantly in the past (which i probably didn't), i am utterly embarrassing. use it once or twice is okay, but too many times just appears weird and stupid, even though the word is actually found in the dictionary.
time passes really fast. one year approaching really soon eh? ;)
for now, i should get going. til the next entry, much love!

so long, goodbye
i wish i could make this entry private. it's rather personal to me.
if only we could stop time, i would want to be back there sitting, talking and enjoying the scenery with my sister (even if we have to pay few bahts just to sit there). now that she has gone back to where she has to be, i feel rather empty, in a way. i need time to get used to it all over again. when i'm 20, i want to be just like her - sensible, smart and the best sister anyone could ever have. that's for sure.

panic attack

occasionally, i enjoy reading horoscope and what it has to say. perhaps it gives me a sense of comfort or whatsoever but the above does justify how i feel. i will work hard for what i want to achieve.

i can truly say that i'm such a lucky person recently. i am such an absent-minded person, i always misplace my things. just yesterday, i left my handphone in the toilet at PS and took a bus home before i realised it was missing. thank goodness, <3 was still around the area and he tried to ask people around to go in the ladies toilet to retrieve my phone. surprisingly, after about an hour of panicking, i rushed down to PS and found my phone lying at it's original place, untouched and the toilet door was mysteriously LOCKED (no one was in the cubicle).
the weird thing is that there were quite a number of people going in and out of the toilet and how can the toilet door be locked?! i'm just happy it wasn't stolen or anything :)

i spend my national day this year at home, watching the parade on tv and viewing the fireworks from the back window. the eve of national day was quite a bad day in fact. instead of a what was supposed to be a great night at zouk, we ended up at parkway for pool and mcflurry (in the words of yy: "WHAT THEEE?!").
and now, the boy is out playing pool AGAIN while i'm here, instead of studying, talking about what i'm going to do after A levels with lthena. there's just so many things, i should make a list some day :)

train of thoughts
sometimes before i go to sleep, i start thinking about what i've been doing with my life. i think about my studies. i think about going to university. i think about my future. sometimes i think about whether i've made the wrong choice going to a JC, even though i know it's way too late to talk about this now. sometimes i think about friendships and how i miss those times back in primary/secondary school. you just don't know who you can trust these days. i just hate being in an environment where people are just plain superficial and fake. i also think about how people around me have changed, how i've changed through the years as well. sometimes i think that you don't have to have many friends/acquaintances. instead, the few good friends who stand by you through thick and thin, are enough. at least i know i've friends and not forgetting a great boy who will be there no matter how hard i fall :)"Old friends, like old swords, still are trusted best."

phuket, thailand
my weekend getaway at phuket turned out pretty fine. i managed to spend some quality time with my siblings but at the same time, i missed my boy's birthday on saturday :( my dad planned without telling me much in advance.
i spent my days there at the beach, the pool, shopping around and eating a lot and i mean A LOT. plenty of seafood! there were tsunami DVDs on sale everywhere but i didn't buy it. haha. it could have been a better trip if... :(
i can't post many pictures right now, blogger is extremely slow. that's all for now!
