phuket, thailand
my weekend getaway at phuket turned out pretty fine. i managed to spend some quality time with my siblings but at the same time, i missed my boy's birthday on saturday :( my dad planned without telling me much in advance.
i spent my days there at the beach, the pool, shopping around and eating a lot and i mean A LOT. plenty of seafood! there were tsunami DVDs on sale everywhere but i didn't buy it. haha. it could have been a better trip if... :(
i can't post many pictures right now, blogger is extremely slow. that's all for now!

we passed our 9th few days back and you're finally 18. i'm sorry i wasn't here for your birthday but i hope you liked the present and everything else. i'll make it up to you, i promise. let's work hard together for the a levels and ace it! i love you, from the bottom of my heart :)

good old memories

we should have done this a long time ago :)
met up with shawna, lesley, audre and akimi at orchard. it's been such a long time since we last saw each other. it's nice to see how much we've all grown, in one way or another. updated each other on our lives over dinner at vilage. we went to balcony and moved to spinelli soon after for a quieter environment. it was a good night :)

yesterday i was on the way home with my boy and i couldn't believe what i saw. an old MAN (at least 50 years old), dressed in a mini leopard-print dress, with stockings and high heels, sashaying out of dhoby ghaut mrt. oh, and he still had some facial hair (!!). i managed to take a back view shot of the man but i shall not post it up here. hahaha.
anyway, results for prelim 1 weren't very good. i'm going to put in more effort from now on, which means lesser time online and lesser entries. i can't afford another failure :(

transformers
such a lazy, lazy sunday.i came back from church and spend my time in front of the tv watching live earth. sadly, i didn't wear green out yesterday while the couple (youying + weijean) both wore green. haha. the four of us caught TRANSFORMERS and it was such a good movie. i loved the effects and the final part was hilarious. and omg, the yellow chevrolet car is such a beauty :)
we played tennis the other day at SSC. weather was terrible and it drained out all my energy for tennis. i ended up playing for a while before i sat on the bench and watch the guys play. i am seriously growing sideways. fat, rhonda, fat!

i found this picture on shaylynn's friendster and grabbed it immediately. i wish there was a clearer and bigger picture. my primary 3 class! goodness, it's such a long time ago. i miss those days, when we were so young and innocent. spot me if you can!

it's warmer in the basement
on the 29th:
finally, i got past the first week of exams. the papers so far were manageable even though some questions were not that easy. i know i can do better if i studied harder and practiced math more. this week passed really fast. for some relaxation, i went parkway after church with my sister and ivan, shopped at mango!
